The Consumer Banking Specialist is responsible for providing timely resolutions to our Consumer and Community Banking customer’s queries. They will connect with our customers through inbound/outbound calls regarding transactions on their accounts such as payments, loans, charges/fees, interest rates, rewards and other issues.
The Business Analyst I role is in the Retail Branch Operations Analytics of JPMorgan Chase Bank. The candidate will be working on various Data visualization and representation of Branch Operations data. This position will assist in developing and supporting the reporting and operational applications that drive decision making within the business. This role leverages proven technical abilities in a data visualization and application development field to design and automate data based solutions that both improve the customer experience and impact the bottom line. He or she can synthesize sometimes ambiguous, undocumented ideas and requirements into a meaningful visualization that solves operational problems. This position also requires the communication skills necessary to influence and drive the adoption of reporting and application development tools necessary to deliver operational value. Other responsibilities include working collaboratively amongst other talented team members and across the broader organization. A big part of the role is to be able to ask open-ended questions, explore new ideas, and choose appropriate techniques for solving a given problem. We are looking for someone who can work with minimal supervision, is a self-starter, and demonstrates a willingness to learn new business processes, skills, and technologies as required.
The candidate will be expected to:
Partner with onshore leaders to drive projects assigned to the team
Contribute to data visualization and reporting on Branch and other retail operations data.

Work with business domain experts to identify data relevant for analysis
Provide and apply quality assurance best practices for analysis/reporting services.
Develop new visualization methods and/or tools as required.
Collaborate with unit managers, end users, development staff, and other stakeholders to integrate data mining results with existing systems.
Extract/Generate reports/ data, analyze and provide recommendations for the project undertaken
The candidate should have 5+ years of relevant experience in Data Visualization using Tableau and Analytics.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or allied
Report Development: Experience building superior analytical reports and dashboards using data visualization tools like Tableau or equivalent
Application Development: Experience building interactive process management applications using database and programming tools like MS Access, VB, or equivalent
Technology Support: Experience troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis for production support incidents; experience designing and building solutions to minimize maintenance and failure
Data Acquisition: Experience with SQL on a commercially available RDBMS; experience with ETL or Big Data platforms for manipulating complex and large data sets
Strong Retail Banking is good to have
Experience working with the US Retail market is a plus.
Experience of working with International Partners in an Offshore and Onshore model is a plus.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
Proficiency in critical thinking and problem solving.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent knowledge of statistical and modeling tools such as SAS, R, Python and SQL.
Experience in large scale data handling.
Ability to guide and conduct research and drive valuable insights from data.
Experience of visualization tools like Tableau is a must.
